Project goal
- Development of AI-based tools for grid stability and efficiency
- Creation of optimization algorithms for real-time energy grid analysis
- Research and development of new battery materials and storage technologies
- Innovation in catalyst materials for hydrogen production and storage
- Integration with circular economy principles and CO2 reduction solutions
Expected results
LACISE will develop new energy generation, storage, and optimization solutions using cutting-edge IT and advanced materials. The project will:
- Develop and test AI models for predicting and maintaining grid stability
- Create optimization algorithms for grid expansion planning
- Research and develop sustainable and high-performance battery technologies
- Synthesize and test catalyst materials for hydrogen production
- Strengthen collaboration with Swiss partners for knowledge exchange and innovation transfer to industry
- Organize educational and outreach activities in STEM, especially in rural areas and for young women
